About Us

Company Overview

Two Thumb Grip is a British company specialising in the design and manufacturing of a unique and innovative range of putter grips. We are based near London in England and our grips have been sold all over the world for over 10 years. Putting is the single most important skill in golf and it is our passion. The connection point or contact area between the player and the putter (the grip) is of critical importance and this is where our innovative and patented designs make a real difference to players of all levels. From the Original TwoThumb grips and putting system right through to the 'Snug' technology – we are leading thinkers in putting grip innovation.

Our History

The founder of TwoThumb; launched our very first grip in 2005. Weighing 180 grams the 'original' was designed to improve balance throughout the putter by distributing weight more evenly throughout its length whilst the maximum size grip would combine to help overcome the yips and wrist break, thereby preventing missed putts.

Since then the TwoThumb range has expanded greatly to include lighter grips (Light at 150 grams and Pro-Light 68 grams) for golfers demanding more 'feel' and 'control' over the putter head, whilst the 'Shorty' was introduced for golfers with shorter putters and for players employing a pure pendulum motion.

All maximum sized grips actively promoted the TwoThumb putting technique and by doing so have helped golfers around the world improve the balance and accuracy of their putting.

Our Philosophy

Since 2005, Two Thumb Grips have been used by some of the very best players in the world to help them with their putting. The presence of the Two Thumb Grip at Tour events throughout the world is a testament to the real difference they can make.

The grips have been used on the Men’s Tour by Colin Montgomerie, Miguel Angel Jimenez, Stephen Gallacher, Mark Foster and Marcel Siem.

On the Ladies Tour the grips have been favoured by our British players such as Becca Hudson, Rebecca Brewerton and Trish Johnson, not to mention Holly Aitchison who finished 8th in the Ladies Indian Open in December 2014. The new style Snug Daddy 30 grip helped O Sataya to win over 50,000,000 Yen on the Asian Tour in 2014.

Look out for Two Thumb when you are watching the European Tour this year either on television or if you are lucky enough to be there in person.
