This year the winning European Team relied on their course information provided by the world’s leading yardage book providers.
The yardage book provided to the European Team was made available for the public to buy at the event for the first time with the help of kitbag.com who were the on-site merchandise retailers.
The work for the event was and example of the perfect collaboration between DSi the leading yardage book creator for touring professionals and one of Europe's leading suppliers of graphic communication material to the golf industry. Clere Golf MD Paul Homersham said "It was a pleasure working with Dion whilst the survey was being carried out and doing just our small bit to contribute" Clere Golf then had just a short turnaround after the book designs were complete to produce the thousands required ready for sale at the event.
Clere Golf then partnered to help produce the Green Book drawings that were made available for the European Team with DSi. Steve Richardson, who heads up Clere Golf's operations in Europe helped work on the drawings himself the weekend before the event. Mr Richardson said "It was a real team effort that weekend to get the drawings ready from the survey information gathered at Gleneagles, but everyone here at Clere Golf wanted to support Dion and the European Team at the event!"
